Xplore Group developed an e-commerce platform for BergHOFF Worldwide’s B2C-customers. The BergHOFF branded platform drives conversion and delivers a unified and unique brand experience.
BergHOFF Worldwide is an internationally renowned brand in kitchenware and cookware, headquartered in Heusden-Zolder, Belgium. In less than two months, Xplore Group designed and released the company’s international channel of the new B2C web shop. In under four months, specific channels for Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands and Belgium were added to the platform.
Approximately a year after its initial launch, a complete overhaul of the platform’s front-end was released. The design reflects BergHOFF’s new corporate branding. Xplore Group developed the solution using Magento, adopting new functionalities such as an intelligent search mechanism, geo location, store locator, Mailchimp integration, Google Analytics with the Enhanced Ecommerce add-on and more. Data flows such as product, stock and price information are synched between internal BergHOFF systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Contentserv, and the Magento CMS.
The web shop uses advanced technology to function as an all-round e-commerce hub. Apart from driving conversion on the Magento platform, it can also be used as a data hub to connect with marketplaces like Bol.com, Amazon and Fnac, and drive conversion on those sites. All orders on the external platforms are pulled into Magento through an API, which simplifies the order management and fulfilment.
