Data Engineer

• Wants to build modern data platforms for various clients
• Wants to play a key role in shaping the data engineering team
• Produces data funnels from multiple sources and formats that enable efficient data analysis
• Builds partnerships with clients and other team members to achieve the best solution
• Works on multiple projects simultaneously
• Analyzes various existing systems in detail and can identify clear areas for improvement
• Has strong knowledge of Apache Spark, Airflow, Scala, Apache NiFi, etc.
• Has experience with ETL tools (e.g., Alteryx, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Matillion, Fivetran, etc.)
• Has experience with cloud data warehouses such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, etc.
• Has a strong knowledge of SQL and/or Python

You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or a similar field. You also have a good command of both Dutch and English.

• Someone who enjoys working with the most innovative and scalable data processing and cloud technologies
• You are proactive, actively seeking new ideas to meet our clients' goals and requirements
• Someone who enjoys sharing knowledge with team members
• Someone who feels completely at home in an agile and dynamic environment, working with a small, multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, QlikSense, Pentaho, PowerBI is a plus
