To provide the perfect omnichannel experience, they chose Progressive Web Apps, hosted via Amazon Web Services. A headless setup offers more flexibility than a traditional structure. This allows Coop’s customers to start filling their shopping basket on their PC and continue their purchases later from their smartphone. Everything remains synchronized, so online shopping is carefree. To be able to scale quickly and to keep up with fast changes in the market, microservices were also introduced into the setup.
Coop’s webshop is completely future-proof and can easily grow in a rapidly changing market, thanks to its optimal scalability. The icing on the cake: the webshop won the award for the most popular webshop in the Netherlands in 2021.
