Pizza Hut Belgium is strongly committed to online customer experience. Xplore Group redesigned the pizza restaurant’s website, enabling it to better handle peak demand. The website was also expanded functionally.
Top Brands is the independent Belgian restaurant group that manages the Pizza Hut and Paul brands in Belgium. The company currently has 230 stores and 3.500 employees. Pizza Hut’s Belgian and French websites proved insufficiently capable of meeting peak demand, especially during major sporting events.
At Top Brand’s request, Xplore Group conducted an audit, focusing on the application architecture, server infrastructure, the quality of the code, latency, security, maintainability and scalability of the websites. The assignment: prepare the sites for the 2016 European Football Championship, as Top Brands expected a strong increase in online orders during the games of the Belgian and French national teams.
Today, Xplore Group is still responsible for the technical management of the Belgian Pizza Hut websites (Dutch and French). Top Brands sold the French branch to AmRest. Xplore Group added two important features to the websites: online payment and only delivery tracking. Xplore Group carried out a complete redesign of the websites, focusing on mobile, user experience and conversion.
