Competence Center nFuse recently obtained the ISO 27001 (information security management) certificate for following services: “24/7 Application Managed Services, operational monitoring (including custom built applications) and hosting”. You can read more about the reason for the certification and what it means in this blog.
ISO 27001 is a globally recognized standard relating to information security. The standard describes which processes can be followed to secure information, with the goal of guaranteeing confidentiality, availability, and integrity of information.
Obtaining the certificate shows that a company has met all requirements to ensure customer data security. These requirements have to do with establishing, implementing, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving these data and this is maintained in the Information Security Management System (ISMS), through (for example) performing a periodic risk analysis or knowing when to follow which process.
In other words, the ISO 27001 certificate demonstrates that your company takes information security seriously.
nFuse often is asked if they are ISO-certified. They are a niche player with a unique service offering in which companies struggle finding a certified partner. With this certificate, nFuse can fill that void and guarantee that they meet the strict requirements regarding data personal (customer) information. In addition, the certificate creates an extra layer of trust, leading to a greater customer satisfaction.
Obtaining this certificate was a logical step for nFuse and something that sets them apart from their competition. It is an extension of what they have been doing for years and the processes they were already following. It was merely a matter of documenting and streamlining everything.
What’s in it for you?
In a world where cybercriminals are more creative and faster each day, it is extremely important to know that who you are working with is committed to information security.
The ISO certificate is this guarantee. As a customer, you can rest assure that nFuse has all measures in place to protect your data and reduce security risks. In case a risk does occur, there are specific guidelines on which steps are to be taken.
This certificate also assures that all procedures and processes are followed, and an annual and triennial audit are performed to continue to ensure this in the future.
